Nintendo revealed several details about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond during the latest Nintendo Direct. While we still don’t have a release date, the Switch 2 version of the game will fully support mouse controls, enhanced visuals and faster load times when compared to the Switch version. Two display modes will be available for fans playing on both TV and in handheld mode. A Quality Mode will let players experience the game in 4K at 60 frames per second or 1080p at 60 fps in handheld. Performance Mode will run at 120 fps on the TV and at 720p at 120 fps in handheld. Both display modes feature HDR support.
Metroid Prime 4 will launch on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
