Just as the first Nintendo Switch 2 lottery came to a close today, Wednesday, April 16, at 11:00 a.m., Nintendo is looking toward round two. The second lottery via the My Nintendo Store online in Japan is set to kick off on Monday, April 28 in the afternoon. For those looking for a non-language locked system in Japan the My Nintendo Store online is the only place to procure a Multi-Language Switch 2 system. As it stands right now, all other retailers in Japan will only offer the Japanese Language System (Japan Only) SKU. The Multi-Language system will retail for ¥69,980 while the Japanese Language System will sell for ¥49,980.
The results for the first lottery via Nintendo directly here in Japan will be sent out to fans via email on Thursday, April 24. Just in case you missed it, certain conditions have to be met to even be considered for the lottery including 50 hours of playtime, a Japanese Nintendo account and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription for a year total or more. Wherever you are in the world trying to get your pre-order in for a Switch 2, good luck!
