Nintendo is already making their new app into a source for hard hitting news. In a post in Nintendo Today!, the company revealed that The Legend of Zelda movie will hit theaters worldwide on March 26, 2027. Miyamoto also took to X and posted about the movie saying the following:
“This is Miyamoto. Did you have a chance to check out the short video we posted on Nintendo Today! a few hours ago? We announced that the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda, which I am producing with Avi Arad-san, will be released in theaters worldwide on March 26, 2027. On the Nintendo Today! app, we will be delivering a variety of information such as this announcement "directly" to all of you. We hope you will try it out.”
