Japan isn’t going to get left out of the physical release of these classics. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection, dubbed the Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Memorial Package, is set to be released physically in Japan on March 20, 2025 for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The collection will retail for ¥9,172 (roughly $58.62 USD with the current exchange rate) and is currently up for pre-order on the Square Enix e-Store. The Japanese versions feature full English support. You can see the Japanese trailer for the physical version below.
Previously, the only way to purchase the physical version of the Pixel Remaster collection in Japan was through the 35th Anniversary Edition of the game in limited quantities - the standard version was not available standalone. The game saw a wider retail release this past October.
