Echoes of Wisdom Comes Up Big in Latest Nintendo Financials

Nintendo has shared their latest financial data for the first two quarters of the 2025 fiscal year (April 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024). As expected, overall sales have decreased year over year, however Nintendo’s “Other” category, which sales at official stores like Nintendo TOKYO and their playing card division, saw an increase of over 50% in sales. During this period, the Switch has a sell-in rate of 4.72 million units. NCL has decreased their hardware forecast for the fiscal year from 13.5 million units to 12.5. 

In terms of software, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom saw a relatively strong launch, eclipsing two million units in a few days. Nine titles, including six Nintendo published games, have sold one million or more units for the fiscal year. You can find more details below.
