A “legendary” series of games is officially coming to English speaking territories for the first time. Three Densetsu no Starfy (The Legendary Starfy) titles have been added to the Game Boy Advance app for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack members worldwide today, Friday July 12 (July 11 in some regions). The games put players in control of a starfish making its way through a variety of 2D side scrolling levels. Alghouth this marks the first time gamers can play these titles in an official capacity, the games have not been localized, retaining the original Japanese. The Densetsu no Starfy series was developed by Tose and published by Nintendo. The games saw re-releases on the Wii U Virtual Console back in 2015 for the first title and 2016 for the latter two. The last update to the GBA library on the Switch came on June 19 featuring The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four Swords and Metroid: Zero Mission.
