Splatoon 3 “Stylish Sogawa Walk” Event Coming to Toyama

Splatoon fans who will be in Toyama Prefecture this summer are in luck. A special event called the Splatoon 3 Ikasu (Stylish) Toyama Sogawa Walk will kick off on Friday, July 12 and run until Sunday, August 18. Taking place in Toyama City, the event features a stamp rally aimed at taking fans to various museums, department stores and more through the Sogawa shopping area. A stamp rally card can be purchased for ¥330 (roughly $2.05 USD) and there are nine locations to visit. Once the card is complete, fans can receive a special Splatoon 3 sticker (on a first come, first served basis).
In addition to the rally, a Splatoon themed festival will be held over five days in the area. A handful of games will be available for ¥400 ($2.48 USD) per try including ring toss, yo-yo fishing, egg toss (using a Splash Bomb plush toy) and bowling. The event will be held on the following days in the locations listed below.
  • Toyama Grand Plaza | July 27 - 28 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Toyama Shimin Plaza Atrium | August 10 - 13 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
A Splatoon 3 pop-up store will also be opened throughout the campaign period on the second floor of the Toyama Shimin Plaza every day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The shop will have a wide selection of goods from Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO, games, and a few pieces of original merchandise such as an acrylic key chain (¥880) and a folder (¥330) made specifically for the event. A GPS check-in via the My Nintendo App (currently Japan only) will also be available. Checking in will net fans a Splatoon 3 sticker.

Toyama City is located about 300 km (190 miles) northwest of Tokyo.
