Mario’s mobile offering is getting another special event with a new Switch title. Starting on Thursday, June 27, a special Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD event kicked off in Super Mario Run. This will be run until Thursday, August 1 at 3:59 p.m. Japan Time. completing missions during this period will give players in-game statues that can of Luigi and some of the ghosts from the game. The following three statues are on offer:
- Luigi & Poltergust 5000 Statue
- King Boo Statue
- Fleeing Pulterpup & Luigi Statue
For those that haven’t purchased the game, simply linking your My Nintendo account to Super Mario Run will allow free access to later stages in the game during this period. Be sure to check out the app for more details.
