Konami has finally let fans know when they can get their hands on their next entry into their realistic baseball sim. Pro Yakyū Spirits 2024 - 2025 will release on the PlayStation 5 and Steam on Thursday, September 19. The physical version of game is now available for pre-order at participating stores. Those that pre-order the game early for the PS5 (physical) will be able to nab a special Shohei Ohtani x Pro Spirits sleeve for the game. This features artwork of Ohtani in his Samurai Japan uniform as both a pitcher and batter. The standard version of the game will retail for ¥9,790 while a Digital Deluxe version will go for ¥14,850. In addition to the release date, Konami also shared more details about the game. Two brand new modes are coming to the game with myBALLPARK and Hakkyū no Kiseki (White Ball Miracle). myBALLPARK allows players to become the GM and president of a professional team. Here you will scout players, train and improve your team, improve facilities around the stadium, find ways to bring more fans into the ballpark, increase profits and more.
Hakkyū no Kiseki puts players in the role of a high school baseball coach trying to get to and win the Koshien baseball tournament. As the coach, you will train your main nine stars, implement various in-game strategies and even have the ability to play as the individual players in specific game situations. The player edit for this mode has also been greatly expanded and allows to create athletes that look like current baseball stars or even elderly people.

Commentary & Voice Work
Several returning voices will be returning to the series. The main play-by-play is handled by series veteran Taisuke Mitsuhashi. A new AI powered featured called “voice synthesis” will add more realism, making commentators sound as if they are talking in real time. Commentary will be handled as a four-person team. You can see the entire cast below (which includes the amazing Tomoya Satozaki):
