Teased on Dragon Quest Day late last month, Square Enix has finally lifted the veil on the latest HD-2D project. Dragon Quest III HD-2D will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Steam and the Microsoft Store on Windows on November 14 worldwide. After the trailer, series creator Yuji Horii revealed that not only are fans getting Dragon Quest III in this new visual style, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is coming in 2025. Despite the numbering, the series story chronologically goes from III to I and then II. You can see the Japanese and English language trailers for the games below.
