The GameCube classic has finally hit store shelves around the world. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, or Paper Mario RPG as it’s known as in Japan, is out today, Thursday, May 23. Early review of the game from English speaking outlets have been largely positive. In Japan, the game received a 35/40 (8/9/9/9) from Famitsu. Long time Japanese news website GAME Watch went on to say, “Even after 20 years, the game still has many fans. Once you play it, you’ll be captivated by the adventures of this flat version of Mario. The quality hasn’t faded one bit and we hope that you’ll try out this masterpiece.”
NCL has also prepared a downloadable "Paper Book," or essentially an instruction manual for the game. You can download the PDF here. Special thanks to Genki_JP for the heads up!
