Konami just dropped another update for Power Pro YakyÅ« 2024 - 2025. First and foremost, those that pre-order the physical version of the game, a special case sleeve featuring Konami baseball ambassador Shohei Ohtani, Power Pro-kun and their yellow dog, Ganda in celebration of the series’ 30th anniversary. Speaking of Ohtani, Konami spilled the beans on the player’s ratings in the game as both a pitcher and a batter. A special “sweeper” pitch has been added to his repertoire and the slugger’s batting power is a 95, the highest for any player in series history. You can see a short teaser trailer for these below.
In additional to the details on the game, Konami has announced that they are teaming up with New Era to create Power Pro themed caps coinciding with the July 18 release of the game. Retailing for ¥6,050 (roughly $39 USD), the caps feature two designs, one with an offensive and the other with a defensive design. The caps are currently available for pre-order but are limited to sale in Japan only. You can see some screenshots of the caps below.
