Switch owners who fancy singing a song or two are in luck. Free karaoke via the Karaoke Joysound for Nintendo Switch app is available starting from Friday, March 1 (10:00 a.m.) until Monday, March 11 (9:59 a.m.). A total of 30 songs are available based around the theme of graduation and songs that are fun to sing in groups. Each song can be sung up to 99 times per day throughout the campaign. This lines up with the graduation period for Japanese schools, which typically occur during the month of March. You can find the song list (in Japanese) below.
Joysound Karaoke for Nintendo Switch is a free download on the Japanese eShop. To access the free songs, simply go to the “song search” area (曲をさがす in Japanese), then select “Try Songs for Free” (無料お試し曲 in Japanese). To sing more songs, you will need to purchase “tickets,” which start as low as ¥330 for a three hour session. Last month, 66 songs were available that were sung during the infamous New Year’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen. You can read more about that here.
