Nintendo is winding down repair services for the New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo 2DS in Japan. Repairs for the systems will no longer be available from Nintendo once the current stock of parts runs out. Customers in Japan that wish to have their systems fixed are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
The last generation of Nintendo consoles, the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, are currently in their end-of-life cycle. Online support for both systems is set to close in April. You can read more about that here.
