Back in 1994, One Piece creator Oda Eiichiro had a one-shot he published in the Shonen Jump 1994 Autumn Special, called MONSTERS. This upcoming January, an animated version of this one-shot will be broadcast worldwide, with it coming to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in Japan. #8 - Palia Switch Releases for Free

An MMORPG that focuses on… the slow life of farming and fishing was released on December 15 on the Nintendo Switch. The Steam version is slated for release in 2024. #6 - New Open World Game, Rise of the Ronin Reservations Open

From the Koei Tecmo studio, Team Ninja, comes a new open world game, set at the end of the Tokugawa shogunate reign at the end of the Edo period in Japan. As of December 14, reservations for the title have opened for the standard physical release, the digital edition, and the Z Version (Z being the most graphic rating a media title can have in Japan, so think of it as the Rated R version). #2 - Gaki no Tsukai Matsumoto and Hamada Prisoner Figurines

Ichiban Kuji is a lottery prevalent throughout Japan, and they have a second collaboration with the comedy duo of Gaki no Tsukai. This time the focus is on a prisoner theme, and releasing in mid-May 2024. Priced at ¥780 (approx. $5.50 USD) a draw, there are a range of prizes to be won, from Prize A (Matsumoto figure, pictured, on the left) and Prize B (Hamada figure, pictured, on the right) and a further seven different prizes as well. #1 - Oda Eiichiro Gives Details on What is Next in One Piece

At Jump Festa 2024, held on December 17 earlier this month, One Piece creator Oda Eiichiro gave a comment after the latter half of the One Piece stage event. What was said? Well, the official One Piece Twitter handle posted the full comment, giving hints at what is to come next in the One Piece story. Hints such as “After Egghead comes, they will probably go to that island,” and “The struggle for that will happen as well.” Jump over here for Famitsu’s full article.
