The next, and likely last, convenience store collaboration of 2023 for Nintendo has been set. Kicking off on Tuesday, December 26, Nintendo is partnering up with convenience store chain Family Mart around the country (roughly 16,500 locations) to offer a variety of Animal Crossing: New Horizon themed goods. In terms of food, one item will be available - the Island Apple Danish. Costing ¥147 (¥158 with tax), this is a red danish that has whip cream and apple jam inside.
In terms of merch, two tumblers (¥2,690 each), a Dodo Airlines case (¥2,290) and a Dodo Airlines Big Travel Pouch (¥2,590) will be available for purchase. The Animal Crossing: New Horizon Nintendo Switch Lite consoles that were released in early November will also be available to pre-order. Additionally, Family Mart is running a campaign for those that purchase Animal Crossing or Nintendo Switch Online prepaid cards giving up to 100 people to a chance to win a set of ten Animal Crossing plushies. That campaign runs from December 27 until January 8.
This marks the third collaboration between Nintendo and Family Mart in 2023. Early in the year, the companies teamed up for Pikmin 4 in July and Kirby in September.
