Two classics have dropped on the Nintendo 64 app for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack members. 1080 Snowboarding and Harvest Moon 64 (Bokujō Monogatari 2) are available today, Friday, December 8, are playable right now on the retro app. Previously announced back in October, the games round out the lineup of Nintendo 64 releases for 2023. These two games mark the 28th and 29th games available on the service in Japan (versus 27 in the West). The last game(s) to release on the service in Japan were Goldeneye and Jet Force Gemini via an 18+ version of the Nintendo 64 app last week. 1080 was originally released on the Nintendo 64 on February 28, 1998 in Japan and followed up by a late March release in North America and October release in Europe. The game was re-released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2008 and the Wii U Virtual Console in late 2015 / early 2016. Harvest Moon 64, known as Bokujō Monogatari 2 (essentially Harvest Moon 2) in Japan, was released on February 5, 1999 in Japan and November 30, 1999 in North America. The game was later released on the Wii U Virtual Console in 2017.
