Nintendo has shared their latest financial data today, Tuesday, November 7, for the 2024 Fiscal Year Quarter 2 (FY2024 Q2). All sales data is for the first half of the fiscal year, from April 1 to September 30, 2023. Pikmin 4 proved to be a hit for Nintendo, selling 2.61 million units, eclipsing the sales of Pikmin 3 Deluxe (2.40 million) to become the best selling games in the series to date. Since the last financial report in August, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has sold an addition one million units, bringing the total 19.5 million units sold. Hardware numbers rose slightly, with total Switch sales for the period reaching 6.84 million units.
