More open world antics from Rockstar are coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon. Red Dead Redemption and the add-on Undead Nightmare are set to come to both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on Thursday, August 17. A physical version is also in the works and is scheduled to be released on October 13. The pricing in Japan for both versions has yet to be revealed. Development is being handled by Double Eleven Studios, known for their work on the PlayStation Vita version of LittleBigPlanet, PixelJunk Monsters on Wii U, the Switch version LEGO Harry Potter among others. You can see the Japanese trailer for the game below.
*Update on Pricing* Red Dead Redemption sells for ¥6,820 (roughly $46.54 USD).
Red Dead Redemption originally released in English speaking territories in May 2010 and was followed by a Japanese release in October of the same year on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This marks the first time that the game has seen a release on a Nintendo platform.
