Pikmin 4, which was released last Friday, July 21, has sold 401,853 units in its first three days on the market in Japan. This does not include digital sales. Pikmin 4 received a huge marketing push from Nintendo in Japan leading up to the release, including food, a special lottery and more.
This is a great start for the game, especially considering that the highest selling title in the series, Pikmin 3 Deluxe (2020, Switch), has sold over two million units worldwide.
