Nintendo is starting to ramp up promotion for Pikmin 4 in Japan. Starting on Saturday, July 8, Nintendo is teaming up with convenience store chain Family Mart for an Ichiban Kuji lottery. For ¥700, interested fans will have a chance to win one of eight prize grades will be available with 25 total prizes on offer. You can find a list of all of the items below.
Grade A - Pikmin Light-up Acrylic Stand (21 cm)
Grade B - Round Pikmin Towelket (90 cm)
Grade C - Pikmin Clear Bag (30 cm)
Grade D - Pikmin Dispenser (18 cm)
Grade E - Pikmin Container (10 cm, 4 types)
Grade F - Pikmin Metal Charm Keychain (4 - 5.5 cm, 7 types)
Grade G - Pikmin Ring Notebook (18 cm, 4 types)
Grade H - Pikmin Zip Bag Set (18 cm, 6 types, 5 bags per set)
Last Draw - Flower Cushion with Blue Pikmin (38 cm)
Special Pikmin themed food is also on the way, but the detailed menu will be released at a later time.
A special Pikmin 4 branded glass and ice maker are set to be released on Tuesday, July 18. Retailing for ¥3,949, the silicon ice maker can be used to make an Ice Pikmin like the ones found in Pikmin 4. The set is currently available for pre-order on the My Nintendo Store online in Japan.
Additionally, six types of stuffed Pikmin keychains and fruit snacks will be available at Family Mart. The fruit snacks are ¥108 and are already available at other locations in Japan (they were originally released in August 2021). The keychains will go on sale on Tuesday, July 4 and sell for ¥770 each. There are six designs of the nearly 13 cm plushies, featuring blue, yellow and red Pikmin with or without a flower.
Last month two Ichiban Kuji lotteries were held for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
