Japan isn’t getting left out in the cold on this one. The physical version of Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania Edition is scheduled to hit the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan on Thursday, September 14 in Japan. A standard physical version and a Collector’s Edition will be available, with the former retailing for ¥4,500 ($32.18 USD) and the latter running ¥6,980 ($49.92 USD). This set differs from the version being offered in the West as Japanese Tokyo based publisher 3goo is taking on the release. The Japanese version of the Collector’s Edition includes the following:
- Physical copy of the game*
- 5 DLC (Return to Castlevania, Rise of the Giant, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls, The Queen and the Sea)*
- 2 Illustration Cards*
- Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania Art Book (24 pages)
- Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania Original Soundtrack (28 tracks, 2 CDs)
- Rubber Keychain
- Pin Badge
- 3D Postcard
- 2 Post Cards
