The Super Mario Bros. Movie is doing numbers. In its first week in theaters across the globe, the film made $375.6 million in worldwide ticket sales. In the US, the plumber and friends drew in $204.6 million ($146.4 million alone over the weekend) while an additional $171 million came in from 70 countries.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is still not available in Japan. Nintendo is set to release the film just in front of the Golden Week holidays on April 28.
