The classic Final Fantasy titles finally have a release date on console. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on Thursday, April 20 (April 19 in North America and Europe). The games can be purchased individually or as a set and are currently available for pre-order. For Nintendo Switch owners, pricing is as follows:

For the English based release, Square Enix has also included an alternative font style after the outcry on the internet when the games first released on mobile. Additionally, players can also change between the original and rearranged soundtracks, turn off random encounters and boost experience points.
