The next entry of the storied MLB franchise has a release date. MLB The Show 23 will release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S | X on March 28. Pre-orders for the game are set to open next week on February 6. The standard version of the game on the Switch will retail for ¥6,490 for the standard version of the game and will be a 21.5 GB download. Additionally, The Show team revealed that Miami Marlins infielder, Jazz Chisholm Jr. is the cover athlete for the 2023 version of the game. Again, for gamers in Japan, The Show 23 will not feature a Japanese localization and will likely only receive a digital release. The lack of localization has been a part of the series' release in Japan for years, so this comes as no surprise.
