Pokémon Scarlet / Violet Sells 10 million in Three Days, 4.05 million for Japan

Sales for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have gotten off to an explosive start. Over the course of three days, the games have sold through 10 million units worldwide. Nintendo has also confirmed that 4.05 million of this can be attributed to sales from Japan. These numbers include both physical and digital sales. 

For Japan, this marks the highest level of domestic sales for any Nintendo Switch software within the first three days. Previously, this record was held by Splatoon 3 which sold through 3.45 million units in the same timeframe.
