Theatrhythm Final Bar, the latest entry into the music series from Square Enix, is set to hit the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on February 16, 2023. The game, tying in with the 35th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series, will contain 385 songs from across the series. Music from mainline titles as well as spinoff titles are available. Not only that, but tracks from the following series’ will also show up:
- SaGa Series
- NieR Series
- Secret of Mana Series
- Octopath Traveler
- Chrono Trigger
- Chrono Cross
Three versions of the game will be released containing different numbers of tracks. The standard edition will released both physically and digitally. The SKUs are broken down in the following way:
- THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE (Standard Edition) | 385 Tracks | ¥6,380
- THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE Digital Deluxe Edition | 442 Tracks | ¥9,680
- THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE Premium Digital Deluxe Edition | 502 Tracks | ¥11,880
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has a strong history with The Famicast. We tried the original out at Tokyo Game Show in 2011 and talked about it quite a bit on the podcast.
