After a bit of a hiatus, the 30th Tetris 99 Maximus is set to kick off on Friday, August 5 and run until Thursday, August 11. Instead of featuring one main theme, multiple themes that were offered during past evens will be available for 10 points each. The themes will rotate out each day and be available between 4:00 p.m. and 3:59 p.m. (Japan Time) the following day. You can see the available themes and dates for each of them below:
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury | August 5 - August 6
- Miitpoia | August 6 - August 7
- Mario Golf: Super Rush | August 7 - August 8
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword | August 8 - August 9
- WarioWare: Get It Together | August 9 - August 10
- Metroid Dread | August 10 - August 11
The last Tetris 99 Maximus Cup took place in late April and featured Kirby and the Forgotten Lands.
