Switch owning RPG fans will have a bit of a shorter wait for the next entry into the Xenoblade series. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is hitting the Switch worldwide on July 29, well ahead of the original September release date. Additionally, a special Xenoblade 3 Collector’s Edition was revealed coming exclusively to the My Nintendo Store. The set contains a physical version of the game, a special steel book and an art book. Gamers in the West will have to wait a little while to pre-order. For Japan, pre-orders are currently open. The Collector’s Edition can be had in three different ways:
- Xenoblade 3 Collector’s Edition w/ physical game | ¥12,078 ($93.89 USD)
- Xenoblade 3 Collector’s Edition w/ digital copy (plus empty case) | ¥12,000 ($93.29 USD)
- Xenoblade 3 Collector’s Edition w/ NO game | ¥4,400 ($34.21 USD)
Although the game has been pushed up, this is not the case with the Collector’s Edition. Currently, the Japanese version of the My Nintendo Store has the game listed as arriving at some point during "Fall or later.” There doesn't seem to be any difference between the Collector's Editions between regions.
