The next entries into the Pokémon franchise are a lot closer than originally anticipated. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are set to release on the Nintendo Switch in Winter 2022. While details are a bit scarce, Scarlet/Violet are open world appear to be using the same engine that was found in January’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The three starter Pokémon were also revealed as well. The Japanese names, types and other details are as follows:
Nyaoha
Classification: Grass Cat
Type: Grass
Height: 0.4 m
Weight: 4.1 kg
Known as whimsical and spoiled.
Hogeta
Classification: Fire Crocodile
Type: Fire
Height: 0.4 m
Weight: 9.8 kg
A laid back fire crocodile that takes things at its own pace.
Kuwazzu
Classification: Baby Duck
Type: Water
Height: 0.5 m
Weight: 6.1 kg
A serious Pokémon that likes tidy/clean things.
