An update for the latest entry into the Kunio-kun series of games, Kunio-kun no Sagokushi Dayo!! Zeiin Shūgō, is available right now on the Nintendo Switch. In addition to bug fixes and balancing, online play is being implemented into the “Bonus Mode” of the game. Bonus Mode allows players to go through ten stages where they fight numerous foes and take down bosses. This was previously limited to local play only. Now gamers can play online with up four players. Unlike the Story Mode, which already featured online play, Bonus Mode is a a very traditional Kunio-kun experience focused on fighting with no narrative elements.
Kunio-kun Sangokushi released on the Switch as a download only title on December 16, 2021 and is a mash up of the Kunio-kun series and Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
