The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, a combo pack featuring Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas, is set to hit the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Rockstar Launcher in Japan day and date with the west digitally on November 11, 2021. The game will retail for ¥7,700 and carry a Z (18 and up) CERO rating. A physical version of the game will ship for the PlayStatin 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on December 7.
The trilogy will feature a more modern control scheme modeled after Grand Theft Auto V on top of re-touched visuals that improve upon the originals but still retain the visual aesthetic. The Switch version of the game features gyro aiming as well as touch screen support. Additionally, gamers in Japan using PlayStation Now will be able to play Grand Theft Auto III starting on December 7 while Xbox Game Pass members will be able to check out San Andreas on November 11.
