The sixth expansion for Dragon Quest X Online, Dragon Quest X: Tensei no Eiyū-tachi, is going to land on November 11, 2021 in Japan on the Switch, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and PC. Users will be able to purchase a physical versions of this game for the Switch, PS4 and PC for ¥4,378 (roughly $40 USD). The physical Switch version does not include a game card but rather comes packaged with a download code for the game and a voucher for 20 days of play. Dragon Quest X users playing on the Nintendo 3DS or browser versions can also access the new expansion via an update that will arrive on launch day.
On top of the standard physical version of the game, a special “Slime and Adventure Set” will also be available to purchase on the Square Enix e-Store, retailing for ¥13,200 ($120 USD). The set is housed in a blue, slime themed box and includes a number of in-game items as well as several physical goods. The following physical goods are included in the package:
- Physical Package Version of the game (you platform of choice)
- A Letter from Yuji Horii
- A Slime 2022 Schedule/Planner
- A Liquid Metal Slime Foot Massager
- Slime Post-it Notes
- A Healslime Wrist Plushie
- A “Code keeper” Slime Tower
- A King Slime Cup with topper

Originally released on the Wii on August 2, 2012, Dragon Quest X Online is available on a number of different platforms. Unfortunately for English speaking gamers, DQX is currently Japan only.
