Hades has finally released here in Japan as of Thursday, June 24 offering full Japanese support. The localization into Japanese was headed up by friends of the show, the super talented team over at 8-4. The most recent update to the game provides a Japanese language option for all players globally. Hades has also been receiving some love from Nintendo's indy initiative here in Japan, "Hello Indy," with an interview with Greg Kasavin (Japanese), gameplay tips and more.
The 8-4 team is responsible for translations of several hit titles over the years including into Undertale, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, NieR: Automata, Xenoblade Chronicles X and more. Hades originally released on the Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020 and was released on PC via early access back in December 2018.
