Hades is finally heading to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 24 and will retail for ¥2,800 (roughly roughly $25 USD). The game was shown off briefly in the Japanese Indie World event (April 15). Hades was originally planned to be released in late 2020 in Japan. The Japanese commentator’s on NCL’s topic page speculate that the reason behind the delay may have been caused by the large amount of dialog found throughout the game.
This marks the first time the game has seen an official localized release. Supergiant Games appears to be handling the punishing duties in Japan as well. As it stands right now, Hades will only be available on the Nintendo eShop - there was no mention of a physical release at this time.
